Directions and Course Locations
(Click on the address for directions)
Most Highland Park/New Brunswick classes meet at the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 South 2nd Avenue, Highland Park (Middlesex County). There is a parking lot located in the rear of the church, off of Magnolia Street (the only parking lot behind the church). There is also ample street parking for this facility.
Some classes are held on the Rutgers–New Brunswick Campus (which is directly adjacent to Highland Park, just over the bridge), so be sure to read the entire course description for any special information. Buildings used on the Rutgers-New Brunswick Campus include the Public Safety Building (PSB), 55 Commercial Avenue. There is a parking deck next to the Public Safety Building that is dedicated for visitors and staff of that location.
Osher House is located on the Rutgers-New Brunswick, Douglass Campus, on the same property as the University Inn and Conference Center. When visiting Osher House, please be sure to utilize the Inn's address of 178 Ryders Lane, New Brunswick 08901 (we have discovered that most GPS devices will not recognize Osher House's mailing address). Osher House has its own parking lot, and is located directly across from the Inn's main entrance.
Freehold classes meet at the Western Monmouth Higher Education Center at Brookdale Community College, 3680 Route 9 South, Freehold (Monmouth County). This facility has its own parking lot.
Please note: Rutgers University no longer issues physical parking permits for individuals coming to campus, and has transitioned to a license plate recognition software. Students will receive an email prior to the start of the session with a link and directions on how to register their vehicle.
All but four rooms in Highland Park and all rooms in New Brunswick and Freehold are accessible. Osher House is a historic building and has nine stairs, including two landings to access the building's main level classroom.
If you require special accessibility, please contact our office so that we can accommodate you accordingly; 848-932-2187 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
